I am a Registered Foreign Lawyer in the United Kingdom and a member of the Istanbul Bar Association since 2009, specialising in corporate and contract law, data protection, banking and finance, and project management. With nearly 15 years of professional experience, I combine deep legal expertise with risk awareness and strategic insight to help clients confidently navigate complex legal and commercial matters.
My background includes a decade as an in-house legal advisor at one of Turkey's leading banks — a joint venture with a French financial institution — where I worked across legal follow-up and corporate institutional banking departments. I supported diverse business lines, from individual and private banking to SMEs and corporate banking, while collaborating with key support functions such as IT, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and HR.
I also served as Head of Legal at a French-origin operational car lease company, managing cross-functional legal projects, negotiating commercial, IT, and supplier contracts in both local and international contexts, and acting as Data Protection Advisor to ensure compliance with personal data protection laws. I led the project to obtain approval for international data transfers, being the first in Turkey to secure this authorisation.
I provide tailored legal consultancy to companies and individuals relocating to or established in the UK, focusing on practical, solution-driven advice in project and contract management, master document policies, risk management, and regulatory compliance. With extensive experience managing projects in legal departments, I help companies run their projects with strong legal awareness.
